If you're looking for a unique and beautiful way to hold your soap, candles, or other treasures, this is it. Handcrafted by functional artisan Steve McKinney, these dishes are made with a special Coast Live Oak tree from our property and hand poured resin, finished with a light coat of food safe & solvent free wax.
The oak tree was the reason we bought our home, and we were devistated when it fell. It took us a while to see that it's transition gave us the gift of light, and began our homesteading journey. We had the tree milled down the street, and it seems fitting to us that we include beautiful reminants of it here, an acknowledgement of Steve's dream of working with his hands too. A reflection of our past, the intention of our future, and the unexpected and mysterious trail that connects them.
